I started at fourteen, breaking into systems out of pure curiosity. Years later, NASA and the United States Department of Defense were thanking me for warning them about their flaws. Today I help boards of directors avoid becoming the next headline.

I have spent more than two decades in the world of Cybersecurity, ranging from the most technical side and evolving towards strategic and risk management areas.

I have discovered security flaws in companies such as NASA, Google, Facebook, Twitter or the United States Department of Defense.

I have evaluated innovation and cybersecurity projects for the European Commission in the European Innovation Council and the European Defense Agency, and I am a member of the expert subgroup on “ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (AI), CONNECTED PRODUCTS AND OTHER NEW CHALLENGES IN PRODUCT SAFETY”.

I take an active part in associations such as FIRST, ISMS Forum, the European Union External Cyber Capacity Building Network or the European Cyber Security Organisation, where I hold the position of “chairman” within the European network of Chief Information Security Officers.

I am a teacher and advisor at training institutions such as Universidad Antonio Nebrija, Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Galicia Business School, Escuela Internacional de Posgrados, Escuela Gallega de Administración Pública, Alianza Española de Seguridad y Crisis or Centro de Estudio Garrigues.

I have spoken at many events such as RootedCon, STIC del CCN-CERT, NoCOnName, Jump2Digital, C1b3rwall of the National Police, CiberTodos of ISACA, Cybersecurity Day of CSO, Mundo Hacker, the JAI Industrial Automation Conference, LibreCon, Ubucon…

I collaborated in projects such as the bug bounty pilot of the Catalan Cybersecurity Agency and as a member of the expert committee on the cybersecurity strategy of the city of Málaga.

I was recognised as one of the 100 best speakers in Spain in 2025 by Thinking Heads, and that same year I received the community contribution award from ISMS Forum.

I was also a finalist at the 8th ESET Awards for Journalism and Outreach in Information Security (2024), Communicator of the Year at the Pericia Tecnológica Awards (2022), Chief Security Envoy by ElevenPaths (2019-2020) and Most Valuable Hacker at the H1 Meetup in Madrid (2019).

I currently work as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at an industrial multinational and I am the founder of the advisory and training platform www.CursoDeCiberseguridad.Com.
