Interview with a Russian disinformer

We carry on reading interviews with the protagonists of hacktivism, and this time the guest is a different one: Desinformador Ruso, a Spanish-speaking account that doesn’t attack (or at least there’s no record of it doing so), but broadcasts. It posts news of the Ukraine conflict and amplifies the attacks of ZPentest, NoName and company, all wrapped in a sarcasm that begins with its own name. The interesting part, as the Cibercapitan notes, is that here language was no barrier. Unlike other groups who reply in Russian or in shaky English, this character knows Spaniards very well, and that makes the interview especially rich.

As always, the house warning: we only ask the questions and relay what the actor answers, unfiltered. We’re neutral, and everyone can form their own opinion. Knowing how they think and why they do what they do leaves us in a better position to defend ourselves. Mind you, today’s obligatory shot of vodka stayed as water, because there was a lot to talk about.
