Studying cybersecurity - Master's at Universidad Nebrija

A stable job, good pay and a sector where you can happily move from one company to another. Sounds good, doesn’t it? To get there you have to train, but be careful, because the market is full of cowboys and not just any little course will do. That’s why I open this series on training with one I do recommend: the Master’s in Cybersecurity, Engineering and Management at Universidad Nebrija. To tell the story I’m joined by its director, Enrique Cervantes, who is also CISO of CESCE, the Spanish export credit insurer.

The idea came from the university itself, pushed by something we all see: there’s huge demand for cybersecurity profiles and companies are looking for people who are trained, or at least keen to train, in a world as complex as it is beautiful. When Nebrija proposed building it, Enrique gathered a few friends from the sector with a simple premise, to make the Master’s he himself would like to take. That’s what this episode is about, what makes it different from the rest.
