🔒 kud3r0 with Noa Cudero 🔒

Learning is an uphill climb, but it helps to have sherpas who show you the way in Spanish. Today I’m joined by one who has just started working as a guide: Noa Cudero. She began as a kid fiddling with her siblings’ computer, with Paint and Photoshop, and that early affinity with computing eventually led her to cybersecurity.

Noa is part of the first cohort of the public cybersecurity specialization course in the Canary Islands, which she reached after studying network systems administration. Out of surrounding herself with cyber on every side, conferences, workshops and LinkedIn posts, her YouTube channel was born, Kud3r0, where she shares machine walkthroughs, tool demos and a bit of theory, with a philosophy she sums up as noob to noob. She does it for fun, without monetizing yet, and partly as a way to reinforce what she’s learning.

We talk about how hard it is to get started in this, about taking it slow (slowly but surely) and leaning on the community, which so far strikes her as a friendly one. Also about Hackron, the conference she’s attended in Tenerife, and her eagerness to make the leap to the mainland cons. A junior-to-junior chat that encourages you to lose the fear and get to it.
